This drama tells the story of how the 'neocortex' in the human brain reflects into the 'limbic system' just before a person tells a lie, leading to somatic symptoms. This 'neocortex'瞬間 appears within 0.2 seconds of a human lying. A female police officer can detect the lies of suspects by reading their inherent 'micro-expressions.' This female police officer's name is Tachioka Ema (played by Chikage Kuriyama). No lie can escape her detection. Every criminal suspect she targets ends up confessing 100% of the time.
