Chai Men Nuan (played by Tengei Ai) lives in a secluded and remote small fishing village, where he is about to step into marriage with the woman he loves, Muku Zen (played by Yamamoto Mizuki). Both of them believe that a happy and fulfilling life awaits them. A man named Nanjo Yukio (played by Okura Tadayoshi) in the village has long been jealous of Chai Men Nuan, and he partners up with a colleague, Raku Sei (played by Arai Hirofumi), who is also envious of Chai Men Nuan, and police officer Irima Kohei (played by Takahashi Katsunori). Together, the three conspire to send Chai Men Nuan to prison. Chai Men Nuan spends 15 years in prison, and through a certain opportunity, he escapes and, fortunately, acquires a large sum of wealth, transforming into a renowned millionaire.
