In a small town in the northwest, people are on edge as a thug named Lao Jiang wants to hire a hitman due to a dispute over benefits. Gao Qiyi urgently needs money for his daughter's medical bills and deceives Lao Jiang by claiming to be a professional killer, taking his money with plans to flee, but his plan unravels. He hides from place to place and ends up in a salon, where he offers a large sum of money to a salon worker named Luo Luo to help him escape.
