Little girl Kim (played by Hu Jiaqi) in Singapore originally had a happy childhood. After her mother passed away from cancer, her father became devoted to work, spending two years on business trips in Indonesia without returning home. Kim's daily life was entirely taken care of by her elderly grandmother, and she gradually closed herself off, causing her academic performance to plummet. One day, her father Choon (played by Chen Hanwei) suddenly returns home, bringing with him a strange woman. The woman's name is Na (played by Su Huimin), who is of mixed Indonesian and Chinese descent, and she was rescued by Choon while being chased by a group of men. Choon hopes to marry Na, but appears to face opposition from both his mother and Kim, so she can only stay in the home as a maid.
