The story is set against the backdrop of the "Ape Flu" virus spreading globally, leading humanity to near extinction, while apes, having evolved into highly intelligent beings, rise to become the rulers at the top of the food chain. As time passes, the tyrannical ape leader Caesar (played by Kevin Durand) establishes the first empire in ape history - the rise of the "Planet of the Apes," marking the dawn of a new world order. The appearance of the mysterious human girl Nova (played by Freya Allan) catches Caesar's attention. She seems to hold a huge secret that not only concerns the survival of humanity but could potentially overturn the entire "Planet of the Apes" once again. While being forced to flee, Nova's fate intertwines with that of young ape Noah (played by Owen Teague), unveiling an adventurous journey.
