The story tells about the eve of the 1980s, when Hu Ba Yi, Wang Kai Xuan, and Shirly Yang are about to go to the United States. The three return to the northeast, where they once went to the countryside for work, to attend their friend Yan Zi's wedding. Unexpectedly, they become embroiled in a life-and-death adventure.
