In 1997, as war nearly destroyed everything in the old world, natural disasters and human tragedies led to societal chaos, and survivors struggled to live, civilization fell into decline. It was a cruel world where the weak were preyed upon by the strong. A boy (played by Munro Chambers) lived in a hidden place, roaming among the ruins, searching for useful items in a way he called 'treasure hunting,' which he then exchanged for food and his favorite comic book, 'Extreme Warrior.' During this time, a quirky girl named 'Apple' (played by Laurence Leboeuf) intruded into the boy's territory. Although she was initially unwelcome, the boy slowly accepted this new companion. Just as their relationship began to deepen, the girl was suddenly captured by an evil organization and forced to participate in a bloody and brutal gladiatorial competition. To rescue Apple, the boy transformed into his most admired comic hero, Extreme Warrior, and charged into enemy territory...
