Engineer Alex (played by Daniel Brühl) returns to his hometown after ten years to work on designing a new type of robotic program for his alma mater. He meets a girl named Eva (played by Clàudia Vega), whom he finds extraordinary, and invites her to help him with his work—studying Eva's behavior patterns to create the perfect child program in his mind. Through their interaction, Alex discovers that Eva is the daughter of his ex-girlfriend Lana (played by Marta Etura), and ten years ago, his sudden departure led to Lana marrying their mutual colleague, David (played by Alberto Ammann), out of heartbreak. Because of Eva, Alex reconnects with Lana, and the love triangle that had been buried for ten years seems to be replaying.
