Synopsis

The story begins three years ago when rich second-generation heir Cao Yuanyuan (played by Lin Feng) indulged his subordinates in killing an old man due to a land dispute. Afterward, he was imprisoned as the mastermind behind the crime. During his time in prison, he lived a carefree life without food worries and was set to be released early due to good behavior. The old man's granddaughter Liao Yuping (played by Zhou Xiuna), who had recently received threats from Yuanyuan's subordinates, suspected there was more to the story and went to the Independent Commission Against Corruption to file a real-name complaint about alleged bribery in the prison. To investigate the truth, the Chief Investigation Officer Lu Zhilian (played by Louis Koo) intentionally drove dangerously to get arrested and sent to prison, only to discover that the corrupt police officer Huang Wenbin (played by Lam Ka-Tung), whom he had previously dealt with, was also serving time there, leading rival gangs. Amidst the gang fights, Officer Lu was forced to get involved while the prison authorities secretly manipulated everything from the shadows...
