The Gulf War resulted in a number of American soldiers and civilians being captured by Iraq. With only ten days left until the presidential election, the urgency of saving the hostages became even more critical. Legendary hero Tober Chali (played by Charlie Sheen) was given a last-minute assignment to return home from the jungles of the Far East and hurriedly head to the Persian Gulf to rescue his compatriots. Before setting off, he had a passionate reunion with CIA agent Michelle, who would be part of this secret rescue, adding color to the tale of his heroism. Upon arriving in the Middle East, the team met with their liaison, DeMita (played by Valeria Golino).
