Pearson (played by Kevin Nealon) takes his family to a villa in the countryside to vacation with his brother's family. A seemingly ordinary meteor shower leads to four aliens, equipped with high-tech devices that can control human thoughts, crash landing in the villa's attic. Initially, they infiltrate the family by controlling Bethany's (played by Ashley Tisdale) boyfriend, Ricky (played by Robert Hoffman), but they are quickly detected by the perceptive children of the Pearson family. While the adults don't believe the children's claims, the kids gradually realize the huge potential crisis posed by the presence of the four aliens in their attic and quietly unite to start a human defense battle. The four aliens, however, are not to be underestimated; in response to the various quirky little weapons created by the children, they use their mind-control devices to turn the adults against the kids. Yet, there is one exception among the aliens: the technician Sparks, who is initially uninterested in fighting, coincidentally becomes friends with Hannah and switches sides to help the Pearson family. Faced with the powerful alien invasion, can the children turn this human crisis into a safe outcome?
