 Synopsis
When the great thief Zhang Peter (Andy Lau) learns that he has only four weeks to live, he decides to take revenge on the gang leader (Li Zixiong) who killed his father. To achieve this, he carefully plans to rob the finance company next to the gang leader's transportation company, taking hostages to attract the attention of the senior negotiation expert He Shangsheng (Louis Koo), who has been transferred to a desk job after offending his superiors. As He Shangsheng pursues Zhang Peter, he faces defeat time and again, but begins to realize that the gang leader is using the transportation company for illegal jewelry smuggling. Consequently, He Shangsheng and Zhang Peter turn enemies into allies and engage in a battle of wits against the gang forces.
