"Inu Yashiki" is adapted from the manga of the same name. The story follows an ordinary office worker named Inu Yashiki, who is nearly 60, does not earn the respect of his family, and struggles to find a purpose in life. He is even told by a doctor that he doesn't have long to live. Disheartened, he is suddenly struck by an alien creature along with a young boy in the park, completely destroying his body. To maintain the order of Earth, the unknown alien being resurrects Inu Yashiki and the boy—they become 'mechanical humans' with human appearances but bodies made entirely of machinery, possessing extraordinary combat abilities. What actions will these two 'mechanical humans' with their own will take? And what impact will they have on the world?"
