"The Spy Cohen" is based on the true story of former Mossad agent Eli Cohen, who successfully infiltrated Syria in the early 1960s and became a spy. Cohen formed close relationships with ambitious military leaders and their wealthy friends, earning extraordinary trust in Syria's largest anti-Israel covert operation. In this series, Emmy-nominated Sacha Baron Cohen ("Who is America?") plays Eli Cohen, who is determined to serve his country but excels at his work to the point of struggling to escape his double life. Noah Emmerich ("The Americans") portrays Eli's Mossad chief Dan Peddle, who tries to alleviate his guilt over the sacrifices Eli has made. Hadar Ratzon Rotem ("Homeland") plays Eli's wife Nadia, who is left to care for their family on her own and knows that her husband's government work has its complications. Walid Zuid ("Colony") plays officer Amin Hafiz, who thinks he has found the perfect ally in the undercover Cohen. "The Spy Cohen" is written and directed by Emmy winner Gideon Raff ("Tyrant," "Prisoners," "Homeland") and produced by Alan Goldman ("La Vie en Rose"). The limited series consists of 6 episodes, each lasting 60 minutes.
