An American pilot has gone missing in the primeval forests of South America, where unfriendly local guerrillas are lurking. U.S. Army Special Forces Major Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger) personally leads his team to search and rescue. They quickly discover the body of the missing pilot in the jungle, with a horrific death.
