In the martial arts world, there exists a cult called Tianzheng, whose leader possesses exceptional martial skills and cruel methods. The leader always appears wearing a mask, thus none recognize him. Aiming to dominate the martial arts community, they frequently send their followers to slaughter factions that refuse to surrender, causing fear throughout the region. The hero Lü Nanren despises evil, and his wife Xue Ruobi is beautiful and lovely. The couple shares a strong bond. One day, Lü learns that the Tianzheng cult plans to attack his friend Ling Beixiu, so he invites powerful allies such as the Three Hearts Divine Lord to help him. On the way, they see the famous Zhenan Taoist temple burned down, with the priest and the abbot brutally murdered, and understand this is also the work of Tianzheng, which enrages them greatly. Upon arriving at the Ling family home, they find Ling has already been captured and his wife Sun Min is also missing. They urgently plot a rescue, but tragically, the Three Hearts Divine Lord is killed and gravely injured. Lü, unable to fight to the end, escapes while holding onto the injured Divine Lord. Before passing out, the Divine Lord reveals that the Tianzheng cult has its eyes on the Lü family's famous sword technique and treasure. Lü is shocked and rushes back home, only to find his house surrounded. He fights fiercely, causing the cultists to flee but soon learns that Xue has been dishonored by the cult leader. Lü angrily scolds her, leaving Xue heartbroken. The next day, Lü's family migrates away, and Xue leaves behind a letter of severance on the way. Lü escapes to a cave that his ancestors used to hide treasures, where he encounters a long-hidden hero named Nan Toubai, who teaches him extraordinary skills and informs him about the so-called treasures of the Lü family.
