The girl Shiori (played by Anna Shikigawa) is awakened by a strange noise, which she discovers comes from four 10-yen coins issued in Showa 63 (1988). She browses through her mother's diary, which records an incident that her mother, who was a freshman at Kitayamada High School in 1988, experienced. On July 18 of that year, her classmate died from gas poisoning. Shiori suddenly realizes that the day the coins made noise is the anniversary of the deceased! Kitayamada High School has been abandoned for a long time and is about to be demolished soon, so Shiori decides to go there to uncover the truth. On the other hand, students from Class 3 of the first year at another high school, Ayano (played by Ayano Kounishi), Mimu (Mimu Yamabe), Yuri (Yuri Nakae), Mea (Mea Shoji), Yuka, Miharu, Yuji, Mitsuo, and Yasuhiro, accidentally talk about the past incident of collective gas poisoning that happened in Class 4. Unexpectedly, following the discussion, various supernatural phenomena begin to occur.
