Ethan Hunt (played by Tom Cruise) and his team have been assigned the task of retrieving three highly destructive nuclear weapons. Just as they are about to complete the mission, three nuclear weapons are taken advantage of and stolen in an attempt to save one of their teammates, Luther (played by Ving Rhames).
