The story continues from the previous installment. After her husband sacrifices himself to protect the family, Evelyn (played by Emily Blunt) must face new survival challenges alone with her children (played by Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe). They are forced to leave their home and embark on an unknown journey. In a world of silence, they must not only avoid the deadly 'noise monsters' but also face new dangers that lurk at the end of the sandy road.
