Story Summary: The governor of Shuntong Prefecture, Qi Shaocheng, is wrongfully arrested. The chief officer executing the orders, Lu Yuanhe, is a sworn brother of Qi Shaocheng; however, due to the orders of Lord Cao Qianyue, he cannot dare to disobey despite their brotherhood. Qi Shaocheng is known for being upright and just as an official, enjoying a good reputation. After Qi Shaocheng is imprisoned, chivalrous individuals, disregarding their tiring journey, send a message to Inspector Tie Feihua in the capital to seek justice, redeem his innocence, and eliminate the malicious individuals. Qi Shaocheng's troubles stem from the mysterious disappearance of a million taels of silver from the imperial treasury. Tie Feihua, having learnt of Qi Shaocheng's reputation as a clean official, decides to request the imperial sword and set out for Shuntong Prefecture.
