This film is based on an incredible true story. Federal agent Tim Ballard (played by Jim Caviezel) learns that the younger boy he rescued from a cruel child trafficking operation has a sister who is also abducted. He decides to take the risk to rescue her, but the government cannot deploy forces to another country for the rescue. Time is of the essence, and Tim resigns from his job and ventures into the jungles of Colombia, determined to save the girl from a fate worse than death.
