Qinbi (played by Laura Breckenridge), Taibisa (played by Katheryn Winnick), and Lisa (played by Jessica Lucas) are childhood friends in the town of Thornhill, but one day as they grow up, they each experience a terrifying ordeal. Qinbi and her boyfriend Rob (played by Tad Hilgenbrink) are driving to Cincinnati at night when they encounter a monstrous truck. A disheveled woman is in the truck, and a note saying 'Help' floats onto Qinbi's car; on a stormy night, Taibisa is taking care of her two nephews when a clown doll in the house unexpectedly stands up and menacingly approaches Taibisa and the children; Lisa's roommate doesn't return all night, so she and her boyfriend Dan (played by Reid Scott) go to a creepy castle to look for her, only to find that... All of this seems to be connected to a childhood friend of the three.
