Blood Midterm Exam

In May, time is running out for students preparing for the college entrance examination. The midterm exams have just ended, and a new round of rankings has been released. The sisters Jiang Yina (played by Nam Gyu-ri) and Ming Xiao (played by Son Yoon-eun) rank fifth and fourth, respectively, performing excellently. A classmate, Jiang Xian, has a crush on Yina and knows she enjoys listening to music, so he gives her an mp3 player and invites them to a party on Friday night. Starting Saturday, the top students will have intensive training, marking the last bit of fun. It is a pleasant evening. On May 24, Saturday, the intensive training class for top students begins. However, Hui Min is missing; suddenly, all the televisions broadcast footage of Hui Min trapped in a sealed fish tank. A voice through the broadcast announces that everyone must retake the midterm exam and answer all the questions correctly in order to end the exam. If they fail to answer in time, students will die one by one. All communication to the outside has been cut off, and teachers attempting to seek help have also fallen victim. The homeroom teacher, Huang Chang Xu (played by Lee Fan Soo), tells the students not to panic as they try to answer questions while searching for the missing student. However, with answers either timed out or unanswered, students begin to die one after another. Yina deduces that the order of death corresponds to the midterm rankings, meaning the next to die will be Ming Xiao. Yina comforts the already frantic Ming Xiao while desperately searching for answers, and Jiang Xian stays by Yina's side. As the death toll rises, the questions become increasingly perplexing. Yina deduces through a riddle that this murder case is related to the death of her friend Ji Won (played by Yoon Jung-hee) two years ago.
