This film represents Austria's bid for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, intertwining the stories of three couples who find themselves at the intersection of desire over the course of several days. A married nurse has a lover who hardly speaks. This lover is only interested in having sex with her and taking nude photos of her. The other is a young girl who deceives her boyfriend into thinking she is pregnant. Her boyfriend is pleased, but he doesn't stop sleeping with a third woman. This third woman is divorced but struggles to break free from her ex-husband.
