In a small town, waitress Joy (played by Kacey Clemons) is sexually assaulted after a date with her old friend Mike (played by Kacey Cott). She befriends a mysterious stranger named Rijana (played by Alexandra Shipp), who introduces her to the Cherry Bombs, an all-female gang including Beatrice (Vanessa Hudgens), Lily (Leslie Stratton), Sal (Radha Mitchell), Jett (Lena Bloom), Angie (Lisa Yaro), Farrah (Kathy Camp Hormann), and Rudy (Gabourey Sidibe). All of them have suffered past traumas, and they unite to combat a misogynistic society, targeting the violent Brotherhood boys, a corrupt police force of traffickers led by Sheriff Morelle (David Patrick Kelly), and the dangerous far-right group MFM (Men First Movement) led by Mark Vanderhill (Ezra Miller). As Joy is further pulled into their chaotic world, Sal's ex-lover Sheriff Vernon from Logan County (Luke Hemsworth) investigates MFM, leading to a thrilling showdown.
