Eight strangers with different identities and no prior acquaintance wake up at the same time to find themselves in a cube-shaped room. No one remembers how they got there, nor does anyone know where they are. After some investigation, a few people discover that each of the cube's four sides has a door leading to another identical cube, but each room contains different traps and mechanisms. The entire structure resembles a cube-building filled with crises and is rife with supernatural phenomena that modern science cannot explain. The eight individuals face many difficulties, and as more of them meet unfortunate ends, who will be able to break free from this nightmare? This film is a sequel to the critically acclaimed low-budget Canadian sci-fi thriller 'Cube' (also known as 'Cube Zero'), released four years later, produced and distributed by the Hollywood B-movie powerhouse Lionsgate. The film continues the story framework of its predecessor and further introduces the concept of four-dimensional space, making the overall style of the movie more abstract and peculiar.
