In the distant dark centuries, the descendants of Corvinus were divided into two. The bloodline, led by Victor (played by Bill Nighy), roams the world independently, while the powerful vampire army suppresses the ferociously contagious and non-evolving wolf tribe. Until one day, a miraculous life is born that changes the fate of these two families. A female wolf gives birth to a werewolf named Lucian (played by Michael Sheen), who has a human appearance. Victor sees the powerful potential within Lucian's werewolf body, and thus begins to breed him extensively, making werewolves the slaves of the bloodline. The suffering of the slaves seems endless, and throughout this process, Lucian complicates matters by secretly falling in love with Victor’s daughter, Sonja (played by Rhona Mitra). Desiring freedom, Lucian eventually manages to break free from Victor's control, and thus begins a war between the werewolves and the bloodline that lasts for hundreds of years...
