Vietnam in 1929 was a French colony, and a 15-year-old French girl (played by Jane Maggie) studied at Saigon Women's Boarding School.She would go home every holiday, and her mother ran a very small school with very little income.She has two older brothers, her elder brother Bill is addicted to drugs and is domineering.
