 Synopsis
Inside the solemn palace, twelve imperial secret agents named after the zodiac animals bear the heavy responsibility of closely protecting the Emperor. Among them is Gao Tianji, nicknamed "Ling Ling Dog" (played by Louis Koo), an inventor full of imaginative ideas. He achieves remarkable feats in protecting the Emperor using various "magic tools," but he remains quite dull in response to his charming and highly skilled fiancée, Mei Xiwang (played by Barbie Hsu), who has deep feelings for him. To enlighten this "Ling Ling Dog," Mei Xiwang comes up with a way to test him.In the deep palace, loyalty and treachery are hard to discern, and hidden dangers lurk. There are secret collusions from various forces surrounding the selection of a suitor for the princess, intending to seize power and eliminate the imperial secret agents led by "Ling Ling Dog," putting the Emperor's safety at risk and presenting unprecedented challenges to the twelve secret agents.
