In the early years of the Republic of China, Puyi, the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty, was controlled by the Japanese and established the puppet Manchukuo government in the north. The Japanese, including Itagaki Seishiro and Kawashima Yoshiko, set up a gas base, brutally torturing the Chinese. Cai Cai had military training and also practiced medicine. One day, he was entrusted by the locals to rescue people in the jungle. The journey was fraught with dangers, and upon arrival, he discovered a group of soldiers harmed by gas. Uncle Cai tried his best to save them, but their commander was beyond help. Before dying, he entrusted the mission of resisting the enemy to Meng Dahai. Eager to serve his country, Uncle Cai wanted to join the army but was refused. Uncle Cai infiltrated the palace, masquerading as a cook, and reunited with Meng Dahai and others. Their goal was to seek out the Changjiang No. 1 Tiangfeng and find the map of the gas base, but their actions were uncovered by Itagaki Seishiro and Kawashima Yoshiko. Consequently, Uncle Cai and Tiangfeng fled to another place, during which Uncle Cai rescued a woman named Lan. The group gathered their strength and prepared to launch a major attack on the gas base, engaging in several fierce battles, ultimately achieving victory.
