Old professor Edward Joston (Billy Connolly) is a historian dedicated to medieval archaeology. It has been his lifelong wish to excavate the 14th century La Locke Castle. However, until today, Robert (David Thewlis), the president of an international technology company, is willing to invest in the project. Jostor's wish was finally realized. He worked with his son Chris (Paul Walker) to form an archaeological team to go to France to explore the ancient battlefield of that year.However, during a very ordinary excavation, members of the archaeological team found a note for help from 1357. The signature was Professor Joston. The professor's glasses were also found nearby, but it has been more than 600 years ago.The team members who were puzzled to find the investor Robert, and only then did they know that the ambitious Robert had secretly invented a time machine that could travel through wormholes and send people back to 1357.Faced with this terrifying and magical tool, Chris decided to lead his members back to the Middle Ages and save his father.However, no one of them can predict what will be waiting for them at the other end of the wormhole...
