The Chaos of Flowers

In the mid-Muromachi period, it depicts the life of Hino Tomiko, the wife of Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimasa, who is also described as a villainess, and the situation before and after the Onin War. From 1993 to the following year, three works were produced in succession, focusing on eras and regions that had not been previously addressed, including the medieval Tohoku region in the first work 'Honō Tatsu', and the Ryukyu Kingdom in the second work 'Ryukyu no Kaze'. The third work, this one, marked the 1200th anniversary of the founding of the Heian capital (relocation) and became a historical drama that dealt with the often overlooked narrow definition of the Muromachi period, where there are nearly no visual works available. In modern times, the second half of 'Taiheiki' in 1991 represents the founding period of the Muromachi shogunate; however, this is the first attempt to depict a purely Muromachi period work that directly excludes overlapping periods with the Southern and Northern Dynasties and the Sengoku period. For the record, this is the only work as of 2011 that has aired two consecutive pieces set before the era of the Toyotomi administration (although, as mentioned above, this does not depict the same era as 'Honō Tatsu').
