In a time of war, the treacherous minister Dou Zhun is in power, using poison and sorcery to train drug men. Drug man No. 19 escapes after undergoing a drug test that alters his body, and is saved by a girl named Chan Yi, who gives him the name 'A Piece of Cloth.' The two gradually develop feelings for each other, while Dou Zhun sends people to capture No. 19, resulting in the innocent villagers being killed, Chan Yi falling off a cliff, and A Piece of Cloth being captured and having his memory altered...
