This drama is adapted from the manga of the same name. In the first installment of the television series, titled "The Hokkaido Tattoo Prisoner Contest", the operation to capture the tattooed prisoners who carry the code to the gold nugget's location officially begins. The journey for the gold enters a new phase, revealing the past and beliefs of the prisoners. The powerful characters that appear one after another engage in a fierce three-way battle among various factions, including the 7th Division (which includes the Sugimoto group and Lieutenant Tsukimi), to compete for the tattooed prisoners.
