"The Cyclops Dr. is an excellent early science fiction film made in 1939 and released in 1940. (It's also in color.) However, despite having a promising story and some exciting moments, it is a very chaotic film. The plot is simple - a mad scientist on a remote island can shrink animals and wants to experiment on humans. He manages to do this with a scientific team that comes to inspect. They are very angry, and the mad scientist ultimately becomes very angry because his new shrinking subjects are uncooperative."
