During the battle against the Skrulls, Kree Starforce member Vers (played by Brie Larson) unfortunately becomes a captive of the enemy. The Skrulls attempt to probe into Vers's memories and ultimately discover a past event that even Vers herself is unaware of, leading them to learn about a woman named Dr. Wendy Lawson, who possesses the time-space engine they urgently seek. Taking advantage of the situation, the superpowered Vers breaks free and escapes to Earth, codename C-53, which also happens to be the place connected to her lost memories. Not long after, S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury (played by Samuel L. Jackson) comes to her aid, and the following onslaught of Skrulls triggers unprecedented chaos among Earthlings. Throughout this process, Agent Fury realizes the seriousness of the situation and helps Vers uncover her true self. The determined Vers finally discovers what is truly worth protecting...
