The monks of Shaolin Temple resolved to restore the Ming Dynasty and oppose the Qing. Zen Master Zhishan (played by Jiang David) went to Mount Emei to acquire the methods of steel refining and the blueprints for various weapons and hidden weapons. He hurried back to Shaolin Temple but encountered Qing soldiers setting fire to it, resulting in the death of most of the monks in a bloody battle.
