The story of 'Blood of the Lone Wolf' is set in Hiroshima before the implementation of the Anti-Organized Crime Law in 1988. Detective Hideo Niigaka, dispatched to the local police station, is responsible for investigating the case of a missing employee from a financial company, alongside fellow detective Shoo Ohmi, who is rumored to have connections with the Yakuza. Niigaka is perplexed by Ohmi's unorthodox investigative methods. At the same time, the conflict between rival Yakuza groups intensifies with the emergence of the missing person's case, and Ohmi comes up with a bold plan...
