Cheung Chau Island in Hong Kong is a small place where people are born and raised, living a comfortable life without much ambition. However, there is a stubborn girl known as the 'Cheung Chau Beauty', Luo Jiao (played by 铜欣桐), who, seeking revenge for a slap from her rival, is determined to team up with a few good friends to compete in the 'Emerging Lotus' 4x100 relay swimming competition to win the championship. To achieve this, she kidnaps 'Flying Fish Prince' Guo Zhiyuan (played by 方力申) and forces him to train her and her friends: the sickly, star-crossed Ah Yu (played by 黄圣依), and the herbivorous twins 'Big Flower' (played by 茜利妹) and 'Little Flower' (played by 朱熏). After intense training, along with some supernatural powers granted to her by 'Sea Guanyin' (played by 田亮), Ah Jiao and her friends' swimming skills greatly improve, and Guo Zhiyuan gradually develops feelings for Ah Jiao, only for her to mistakenly think he likes Ah Yu. The competition finally arrives, and with 'Sea Guanyin's' blessing, they win, but Ah Jiao and Guo Zhiyuan's relationship becomes complicated as he is taken away by his manager.
