In the near future, 'Death Race' becomes the hottest sporting event, where contestants must race while running over pedestrians to score points. Some die-hard racing fans would even sacrifice their lives for their favorite drivers to win the race, while ambitious teams want to make the competition even more bloody, endangering the lives of all drivers and spectators. Can their conspiracy really succeed?! Starring Sylvester Stallone, five renowned racers across the country compete in a continental tournament, each scheming against the others in a bid for the title of national champion, willing to kill innocent bystanders and fans who are prepared to be targets along the way... because the scoring in this competition is based on how many lives they take. This is a violent film, depicting a death race where everyone finds their greatest pleasure in killing, trying to see who can kill the fastest and the most. Killing elderly and children earns higher scores, resulting in a truly bloody spectacle... It is worth mentioning that the cinematography for this film was later done for 'The Silence of the Lambs'.
