In a residential area known as Black Lily, the old facilities and scarlet flowers exude a sense of death. Beautiful girl Asuka Ninomiya (played by Atsuko Maeda) moves here with her parents and younger brother. However, she does not feel much joy, as the neighboring room of the elderly Shinosaki (played by Masaya Takahashi) is often filled with incessant ringing and strange noises, and her parents' constantly bizarre words bring her even more unease. On the third day, Asuka unexpectedly discovers that Shinosaki has already been dead for several days; the horrific scene and the failure to notice the situation in time put immense pressure on this kind-hearted girl. Seizing this opportunity, she meets the young man Shinobu Sasahara (played by Hiroki Narimiya), who specializes in clearing out belongings. A series of bizarre events forces her to rely on Sasahara. The long-standing horror that has long lingered in the community slowly begins to descend upon Asuka...
