Elena is a content and happy wife until she discovers a restaurant receipt in her husband's pocket, suddenly revealing flaws in their lives and casting a shadow over their marriage. Elena attempts to turn things around, but her husband, Alberto, is often absent. One night, Elena listens to Alberto's voicemail and realizes that the one he is passionately involved with is actually a man! However, Alberto's secret lover, Diego, is not treated particularly well either; Alberto is always hot and cold. Diego doesn't understand whether he is a close lover or just an acquaintance, but he cannot give up on Alberto because, like Elena, he is deeply in love with him.
