Beach Boy (played by Tony Leung) and Madam Zhou (played by Ng Man-tat) are a good duo in the police station. Not only do they work well together, but they are also very close friends outside of work. Beach Boy has a fiery personality, while Madam Zhou is more worldly; their personalities perfectly complement each other. During an investigation, Beach Boy encounters a young girl, Ah Yu (played by Joey Wong), and falls madly in love with her. The new boss, Li Nan, appears to be an upright police officer, but secretly he has been making money through gang activities and is ruthless. He also falls in love with Ah Yu and successfully wins her heart. Once, Li Nan plans a black market gold deal, not only to make money for himself but also to frame Beach Boy. What will ultimately be Beach Boy's fate?
