The story background shifts from the grand world of martial arts and politics to the lively and ordinary streets of the city. Shen Jianxin, invited by the leader Li Wangsheng, travels to Chang'an to establish the Chang'an Pure Yang office, making a living by setting up a fortune-telling stall. During his time in Chang'an, Shen Jianxin is no longer the renowned hero of the martial world with a protagonist's halo.
