In Paris's 13th district, four young adults, Emilie, Camille, Nora, and Amber, are friends who sometimes are also lovers, often intertwining both aspects. The four main actors are Lucie Zhang, Makita Samba (from 'Noble Animals'), Jeanne Baus (from 'Impossible Love'), and Noémie Merlant. The film is adapted from a graphic short story collection 'Killing and Dying' by New Yorker cartoonist Adrian Tomine. The script was co-written by director Léa Mysius (from 'Ava') and Celine Sciamma (from 'Portrait of a Lady on Fire'). The behind-the-scenes team includes cinematographer Paul Guilhaume (from 'Ava') and music supervisor Pierre-Marie Dru (from 'I Lost My Body', 'Annette'). Playtime is handling the film's international sales, while Memento is responsible for its distribution in France. The film is currently in its second week of shooting, with a planned release as early as spring 2021.
