Once a troubled youth, Song Chen, influenced by his mentor, decides to become a teacher to change the fate of more underperforming students. When he returns to school for an internship, he is assigned to Class 1, a top-performing class, as their homeroom teacher. Tang Shu Tong, the daughter of his mentor and a hot-headed excellent student, is filled with resistance toward the teaching profession but reluctantly returns to high school after failing to find a job, becoming the homeroom teacher of the struggling Class 18. A rookie teacher versus students unwilling to change, these two groups that look down on each other are forced to spend time together, leading to a gradual dismantling of their prejudices... Meanwhile, Song Chen's former classmates and the previous generation's Class 18 are stepping into society, living together and becoming the strategic advisors for the two rookie teachers. Despite having entered adulthood after their teenage years, they face similar troubles as high school students. The intertwined stories of the 'post-95s' social novices and the new generation of 'post-05' youth raise the question: can they become the adults they aspire to be?
