Seven men and women are in the tea room of a luxury hotel. Freelance writer Aiko Nakagata, next to photographer Haruto Sera, is interviewing company employee Yuki Osamu. The pianist is Osamu's lover, Midori Tamaki. Age-different couple, Runa Minazuki and Reimon Sato, observe from the second floor lobby where the main character, Airi Yuki (played by Kana Kurashina), overlooks them. Airi and Aiko are friends from college. Since their student days, Airi has been concerned about Aiko's love interests. She is indifferent to her husband Osamu's affair. Aiko cannot forget her past experiences and believes that she is no longer destined for love and marriage, but gradually finds herself attracted to the younger Sera's talent and straightforward attitude. Midori draws a line with her paid lover during a father's event but realizes she's becoming serious about love. Runa, the bar owner who provides Aiko with love advice, also has feelings for the young pianist. Gradually, the matters they each hold begin to clarify and intertwine, revealing unexpected connections.
