 Synopsis
Pierre is an approximately thirty-year-old frontline fighter pilot. During the Indochina War, he accidentally bombed and killed a young girl, which caused him to mentally collapse. After the war, his life seemed to have no peace, enduring the torment of guilt, remorse, self-blame, and the pain of lost memories. Every Sunday, he often went to a monastery, where he encountered a little girl abandoned by her father. He hazily felt that this little girl was the one he had mistakenly bombed. Out of a sense of self-comfort and compensation, as well as his goodwill, he took the girl out to play every Sunday. The little girl received unprecedented affection, and they were very happy together. However, outsiders viewed their strange friendship with suspicion and distrust. Eventually, a busybody reported them to the police. As a result, the confused and incompetent police did not conduct an investigation or inquiry and rashly killed Pierre. The little girl was heartbroken. When the police asked her name and identity, she said she no longer had a name.
