 Synopsis
Known as 'Asia's Fastest Hands,' Chen Yaxie (played by Andy Lau) is imprisoned for cheating. After serving his time, his partner Sam (played by Alan Tam) quickly arranges for their assistant Bobo (played by Jenny Kwan) to greet him. Just as Yaxie gains his freedom, he teams up with Sam to pull off a clever ruse. Soon, the two are entrusted by a friend to travel to the United States to investigate a Japanese cheating syndicate, successfully helping a casino recover its losses, which embarrasses the Japanese. This begins a cycle of revenge from the Japanese side. In the U.S., Sam meets the wealthy heiress Tong Keren (played by Michelle Chen), and through various romantic gestures, wins her over and earns her father's acceptance, but at the cost of distancing himself from Yaxie and other unrefined friends. Meanwhile, the Japanese cheating group's leaders, the Miyamoto father and son, intensify their plans for revenge. In an attempt to save Sam, Yaxie loses his proud skills as a fast hand to the enemies. Faced with Miyamoto's aggressive actions, Yaxie and Sam finally join forces once again to confront their foes.
