Synopsis

On the eve of 1997, with the imminent return of Hong Kong, nearly a century of colonial rule is about to come to an end, and Hong Kong's prosperity and decline will undergo earth-shattering changes. As the tide of change sweeps in, the gang leader Lin Yaochang (played by Lau Ching-wan) keenly grasps the pulse of the era. He is committed to upholding the principle that even thieves have their code, steadfastly moving forward with his brothers. Under his command, the brave and decisive A Luo (played by Richie Jen) is even more highly regarded by Lin Yaochang. However, A Luo's true identity is that of a police undercover agent, who has been lurking for many years under the orders of his superior Cheng Guobin (played by Feng Zhongxin), always ready to turn black into white.
